Growing up in San Diego, Stokes has been performing on stage and in music studios since the age of three. Coming from a musical family (mom a classical singer, dad a rock 'n' guitarist) she was given a diverse background in different styles of music and performance.
Around the age of 10, Stokes began experimenting with creating short films, one of which went on to the win the first iVIE Award in San Diego for her High School.
Stokes continued to blend her love of the theater - starring as Millie from "Thoroughly Modern Millie" and Wendy from "Peter Pan" - with her love of film-making, writing and directing her first feature film at age 16.
Through college she further created theater and film productions, such as "The Overnights" and performed in productions like "Staunch Women."
In 2013 Stokes decided to study abroad in Germany. It was there that she met her songwriter partner JAK and formed a jazz band with some of the best musicians in Baden-Baden. It was with JAK that Stokes found her voice as a songwriter. The two continued writing and performing throughout Germany.
Fast-forward to 2019, when Stokes moved to Los Angeles to take the training she acquired in Germany and San Diego to the big stage.
Since being in Los Angeles, she was a member of the LA Comedy Connection - where she met the future team of Pa-lee-at-chee Productions. They are a sketch comedy group, bringing dark comedy with powerful messages to the forefront.
Stokes is a member of the Starr44 Artist Alliance - a group of artists dedicated to the excellence of artistry. The coaches for this group have worked with the likes of Stevie Nicks, Tom Petty, and Michael Giacchino, to name a few.
